An Intro to...Me

About Myself:
Hey, my name is Stephen Bagazzoli, an eighteen year-old from Toronto, Ontario. I enjoy watching movies, whether they are good or bad. My favorite movies include “Raiders of the Lost Ark”, “The Good the Bad and the Ugly”, and “Drive”. Though watching movies is a hobby of mine I also enjoy listening to the radio, which ultimately lead me to the radio broadcasting course at Humber College.

Why Did You Decide To Get Into Radio? :
I initially decided to get into radio when I was doing my communications technology course at my high school. I fell in love with media production and I wanted to go further in depth with it so I got into a very unique course, radio broadcasting.

What Is It About Radio Broadcasting That Attracts You? :
I think that the uniqueness of radio is what attracts me. It is a medium in which all people can find access to anything whether it’s news, sports, or entertainment. Another major       factor of why I like radio broadcasting is the personalities that people can hear on the radio. It seems like each station has a certain personality which in turn gives audience members more variety of listening.

Nine Weeks Into The Program, What Challenges Have You Faced? :
The challenges that I faced through the nine weeks are pretty basic for a first year student. The workload takes some time getting used to, but as the weeks go on I can see myself keeping up and doing all the work. I think keeping a positive mind and being able to constantly learn from my mistakes will make me a better student and broadcaster.

Where Do You See Yourself Going Into Radio? :
I would like to imagine myself going into the production side of radio because I think it’s where my passion is. I like editing and working with sounds ever since I was in high school. It’s what I want and what I feel I should build up to.
